- Jimmy Butler, Anfernee Simons, and Andre Drummond have started a new trend of selling 1-on-1 games
- Fans can test their skills against Butler in a 1-on-1 game for $699
- To play against Simons and Drummond, they can pay $349 and $299, respectively
Playing against their favorite NBA players is a dream come true for most fans. Well, prayers have been heard by a few players, at least.
Jimmy Butler, Anfernee Simons, and Andre Drummond are providing an opportunity for fans to test their skills against them in 1-on-1 games. Of course, the fans will be required to pay for it.
Butler is organizing a two-day basketball camp in August 2023, where he’ll charge $699 for providing an opportunity for fans to compete against him. The campers will also get an individual picture with Jimmy alongside an autographed keepsake.
The details are similar for Anfernee Simons and Andre Drummond’s training camp as well. However, the only difference is in the price of playing 1-on-1 games against them. Parents or campers can pay $349 to get the experience with Simons, while they’ll only have to loosen up $299 for Drummond.
Butler’s camp takes place on Aug. 26-27, 2023. While Simmons and Drummond’s camp are on Aug. 19-20 and Aug. 05-06, 2023, respectively.
Fans Should Get Their Money Back If They Defeat NBA Players In 1-On-1 Games
It’s great to see fans getting a chance to showcase their skills versus NBA stars. Another layer of excitement could be added to it.
While it’s highly unlikely any NBA player loses in a 1-on-1 game against an average fan, there should be a clause to return the money if it happens. After all, NBA players make millions each year.
Returning a few hundred bucks is not a big deal for them. Moreover, if a player like Jimmy Butler loses in a 1-on-1 game against an NBA fan, that’d be a huge story.
