- Stephen A. Smith stirred up controversy on Twitter by asking if Kim Kardashian was a prostitute
- The now-deleted tweet caused quite the furor
- Patrick Beverley called Smith out for his remarks
Stephen A. Smith has apologized to Kim Kardashian after comparing her to a prostitute on social media.
Earlier this week, the First Take host took to Twitter to share his thoughts and that didn’t go down well with fans.
In a since-deleted tweet, he wrote, “Is Kim Kardashian a prostitute?” and later followed it up with another one, saying, “Is Kris Jenner a pimp?” while referring to Kardashian’s extensive dating history and Jenner’s part in her relationships.
One of the people who called out the NBA analyst was Philadelphia 76ers guard Patrick Beverly who wrote, “Not cool. She has kids. Should not be the tittle [sic] or topic.”
Soon after, he wrote on Twitter:
“Clerical error bro. You are absolutely right. That is being corrected right now as we speak. And for the record, I don’t think of @KimKardashian that way nor would I ever speak of her or any woman that way, which I’ve stated. That’s for checking that issue.”

In the end, while the damage was done, Smith made it abundantly clear that he was in the wrong, and maybe that brought the curtains down on the furor that erupted.
Stephen A. Smith Shares His Thoughts On Marriage
Stephen A. Smith has been vocal about just anything outside of sports, and earlier this month, he spoke about getting married someday.
Speaking on the latest episode of The Stephen A. Smith Show, the NBA analyst admitted that he would want to be a married man in the future.
“Contrary to what you may believe, although I’m 55 and a father of two, I have never been married,” Smith said. “I am not against marriage at all. In fact, I hope to be married someday. I hope to walk down that aisle.”
With the NBA season done, and as the wait continues for the next, Smith has moved to various topics outside of basketball and has been unabashed on his take on life matters and other things as well.
Guess he will have plenty more to talk about in the days to come.
