Steve Nash, Chris Paul, Jason Kidd, and Russell Westbrook are the four best point guards in the post-2000s era of the NBA. Each of these four legends made a mark in the NBA with their play and found incredible success as players and superstars. But who is the best out of all of them?

This is what NBA fans tried to determine on Reddit. Fans were asked who was the best point guard out of Steve Nash, Chris Paul, Jason Kidd, and Russell Westbrook.

It is interesting to see how divisive this subject is. While Steve Nash is a 2-time MVP, there has been some debate over the merit of his MVP wins. While players like Paul and Kidd were never able to win MVPs but are still looked at as elite point guards.

Who Is The Greatest Point Guard Out Of Steve Nash, Chris Paul, Jason Kidd, And Russell Westbrook?

It is hard to argue against any of these players being at the top of the list. All four of them have had such decorated and illustrious careers that you could make a case for any of them.

Steve Nash is perhaps the most decorated out of the four players. He was a 2-time NBA MVP in 2005 and 2006. Nash also led the league in assists 5 times in his career.

He was an 8-time NBA All-Star and made 7 All-NBA Teams, including 3 All-NBA First Teams.

As for Chris Paul, while he never won an MVP trophy, his list of honors is incredibly long. Paul has led the NBA in assists for 5 seasons and led the NBA in steals for 6 seasons.

Paul is a 12-time NBA All-Star and has made 11 All-NBA Teams, including 4 All-NBA First Teams. On top of this, Paul has been selected for 9 All-Defensive Teams, including 7 All-Defensive First Team selections.

Jason Kidd, the player who was most underrated by fans in this discussion, is the only NBA champion among these players. Kidd also led the league in assists for 5 seasons of his career.

Besides his championship win, Kidd was a 10-time NBA All-Star and made 6 All-NBA Teams, with 5 All-NBA First Team selections. Kidd was also a solid defender, being picked for 9 All-Defensive Teams, with 4 All-Defensive First Team nominations.

When it comes to Russell Westbrook, fans will always remember his iconic 2017 NBA MVP season, where he averaged a triple-double for an entire season.

On top of that, Russ has been an All-Star 9 times, and he has been selected for 9 All-NBA Teams, including 2 All-NBA First Team selections. Russ has also led the league in scoring twice and led the league in assists for 3 seasons.

Regardless of who you think is the best player out of the four mentioned above, there is no denying that all four of them will be remembered as some of the best point guards in NBA history.
