The Phoenix Suns acquired guard Bradley Beal this summer, and that is a move that many believe will take them over the top in the Western Conference. He is definitely a talented player, that is well-known for his scoring ability.

Even though he traditionally plays the shooting guard position, it was previously revealed that the Suns plan to play him as a point guard. Though some have doubted how well he can adjust to that role, his agent Mark Bartelstein expects Beal to be successful as a playmaker.

“Brad is one of the great scorers in the NBA… I think people are missing the boat if they don’t also see him as a great playmaker… He’s incredibly unselfish, he doesn’t take bad shots… Brad absolutely can run the offense, he can be a playmaker, he gets downhill, he finds people.”

Multiple reports say Bradley Beal will start at point guard for Phoenix.

During the 2021-22 season, Bradley Beal averaged a career-high 6.6 APG for the Washington Wizards, as the team asked him to focus more on playmaking for others. It is clear that he can find his teammates for good looks, and it’ll be interesting to see him in the point guard role with two elite scorers like Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.

This past regular season, Bradley Beal put up 23.2 PPG, 3.9 RPG, and 5.4 APG for the Washington Wizards. He has shown that he is an All-Star player, and hopefully, he can adjust well to being the No. 3 option on the Phoenix Suns.

Bradley Beal Is Excited To Play With Devin Booker And Kevin Durant

There is no doubt that Bradley Beal wants to win at this point in his career, and it makes sense that he is excited to join the Phoenix Suns. Previously, he claimed that he is ready to suit up with his new teammates, noting that the team has a lot of dynamic scorers.

“I get antsy just thinking about it because I haven’t had those opportunities. But I’m excited about it, we have a lot of dynamic scorers. The biggest box that we checked is our unselfishness, all of us just want to compete, we want to play hard, and the biggest thing—we want to win.”

The Phoenix Suns have the talent to win a championship next season. Though they will have to go through a number of talented teams, it is clear that they can win it all if they can develop chemistry and cohesion.
