The lives of the rich and famous seem so distant from the world most regular people live in, but ultimately, they need the same core things to survive that we do. This includes a home, but with the understanding that their homes are extremely lavish.

Grammy-winning singer Adele recently purchased a sensational Beverley Hills home from Sylvester Stallone for a mammoth price of $58 million. The sale almost didn’t go through, as Stallone revealed that Adele wanted the ‘Rocky’ actor to include a statue of the fictional boxer that watched over his pool.

“I did. But she said, ‘That’s a no deal. That’s gonna blow the whole deal (not including the Rocky statue overlooking the pool). She wanted the statue. I like what she’s doing; she’s making it gorgeous.”

Adele ultimately ended up buying the property and is renovating it to be her ideal home. Meanwhile, her boyfriend Rich Paul was dealt a professional blow as client OG Anunoby left Klutch Sports a year before his impending free agency.

A Sensational House For A Sensational Price

Though the sale price of $58 million looks eye-wateringly out of reach for us mortals, the initial price of the mansion was $118 million. The singer is tearing the house down to its foundations and entirely rebuilding the property with her vision in mind, something Stallone is on board with.

The home is located within Beverly Park, an area in the mountains of Beverly Hills known for housing celebrities. The neighborhood’s pas t and current residents include Denzel Washington, Justin and Hailey Bieber, and Mark Wahlberg, among others. Stallone purchased the home in 1990 and built it to what it looked like before Adele’s recent renovations.

This will create a lovely home for Adele, who has been in a long-term relationship with Klutch Sports founder Rich Paul.
