Kevin Durant is one of the most polarizing superstars in the NBA, and even when he minds his business, the Phoenix Suns player is in everybody’s mouths.

After linking up with four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers, Durant made some noise around the NBA. Now, controversial analyst Nick Wright tried to find a meaning behind this meeting, trolling KD for hanging out with a unique person like Rodgers.

“Kevin Durant and Aaron Rodgers hanging out, working out together. My theory: Kevin Durant, who’s a little odd, choosing to hang out with Aaron Rodgers is that he then becomes, far away, the most sane normal guy in the crew.”

“It’s like, ‘Oh, you guys think I’m a little weird? Why don’t I bring my chem trails anti-Vax, Ayahuasca-drinking, you-gotta-FaceTime-me buddy to come hang out?’ And then you might be like, ‘Oh, KD, little odd social media stuff but aside from that pretty chill guy.'”

That’s one way to put it, and a curious one, to say the least. As we’ve witnessed over the years, it’s not like Kevin Durant cares about what people think of him or his social media antics.

The two-time NBA champion has always been ready to defend himself against any accusation. Using these tactics doesn’t seem necessary for KD, who knows who he is and isn’t shy to share that with the world.

Moreover, he had a teammate very similar to Rodgers in Kyrie Irving, and as we all know now, they got along all the time they were in Brooklyn. The relationship might have changed when Kyrie asked for a trade, but that had nothing to do with Irving’s antics and personal beliefs.

Kevin Durant Reveals Why He Only Responds To Haters On Social Media

Speaking of social media, Durant recently revealed why he only takes time to respond to people saying bad things about him. Durant isn’t a person that will hide his opinion on matters, especially when it comes to the NBA.

Proofs of that are his statements about Kyrie Irving and Russell Westbrook inspiring a new generation of players, as well as James Harden being one of the most influential players in NBA history, according to Durant.

Durant will be a controversial player for the rest of his NBA career, and even after that, he could make more noise than he does now. Wright is well aware that Durant is a unique person, too and took this opportunity to take a jab at the player.

However, none of what KD has said has been as crazy as saying Michael Jordan shouldn’t be the GOAT after his tumultuous stint as the Charlotte Hornets owner.
