Nikola Jokic Was Shocked At Torrey Craig’s Shoe Collection: “F***ing Dumb”

Nikola Jokic was not happy with Torrey Craig flexing his shoe collection when the pair were teammates in Denver.

Nikola Jokic has had his fair share of teammates over his nine seasons in the NBA with the Denver Nuggets. Only a select few made it far enough to win the championship this season on the squad, with Torrey Craig not being one of them.

Craig and Jokic were teammates in Denver from 2017 to 2020 and a locker room video from their time together just surfaced. In the video, Craig is showing Jokic his shoe collection and the Serbian center reacted by calling it f***ing dumb.

Torrey Craig: “So, what do you think of this shoe collection?”

Nikola Jokic: “F***ing dumb.”

Never forget when Jokić and Torrey Craig compared shoe collections 😂

What’s funny is that Jokic only had one pair of shoes with him in his locker, showing his true dedication to focusing on going out and playing.

Jokic blossomed into a two-time MVP after Craig left the squad and became a champion with the Milwaukee Bucks. Jokic’s Nuggets eliminated Craig’s Suns in the second round of the 2023 playoffs.

Teammates Reshuffling This Summer?

The Denver Nuggets have made their intention to become a dynasty clear to everyone and they can’t do that without rotating the cast of role-players the team employs. In their current roster, the players that they need to ensure stay with the team for a title repeat are Jokic, Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, Michael Porter Jr., and Bruce Brown. Brown is the only free agent in the group.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has shown tremendous value as well and is a candidate to stay on with the team, though he is a little older than the core group. The team acquired the 37th pick in the 2023 Draft and the worst of OKC Thunder’s 2024 first-round picks, so they have the assets to still make moves.

The Nuggets are prime and ready to be the dominant force in the NBA for the next few seasons, and the league should be worried about how they’re going to re-tool this title-winning group.
