Right when you’re ready to count out the Heat, they show us all why they can beat anyone on any given night. This season, that proved to be the case even though the Heat finished just 8th in the standings. Somehow, Miami is in the Finals again and the odds are stacked against them, just like there were in the first few rounds.

This time, however, the strength and talent of the Nuggets may prove too much to overcome. With their backs against the wall, nobody is expecting Miami to pull out a win in Denver on Monday. But as Jimmy Butler told the media after Game 4, he’s not ready to give up yet and his team still believes they have a chance.

“We really do believe in one another, in ourselves as individuals,” said Butler. “We’ve done some hard things all year long, in this playoff run as well. Now it’s like the hardest of the hard. That’s where we’re at, that’s our reality, so we’re gonna go out and win three straight.”

What’s Next For The Heat?

After dropping both home games, the Heat will have to win two games in Denver against the NBA’s best home team. Obviously, Miami is not favored to win and many expect their season to end on Monday.

But nobody picked Miami to beat the Bucks or the Celtics this year, and they found a way to get through them. If the Heat can just find a rhythm for one game, they can extend the series and put the pressure back on the Nuggets.

“Take it 1 game at a time,” Bam said, via ClutchPoints. “We’ve seen a team come back from 3-0 firsthand, so we just have to believe and take it one game at a time.”

Some consider it a miracle that the Heat have made it this far, but there’s no reason to think they don’t belong here. And while they are clearly outmatched this year, Pat Riley will be looking to change that this summer where he can hopefully make a number of notable additions.
