The Miami Heat completed the job and eliminated the Boston Celtics from the 2023 NBA Playoffs in the Eastern Conference Finals, advancing to the NBA Finals for the second time in the last three years.
After the Celtics tied the series 3-3, many thought that it was over for Miami, but Jimmy Butler never hesitated. One fan was about to lose hope in the Heat, but Butler always remained confident. A viral video shows the veteran player reacting to one of his Instagram messages of one fan urging him to beat the Celtics.

This fan was going through it and let Butler know. The Heat were very comfortable after the first three games of the series and then the Celtics woke up and won three consecutive games.
This would obviously set the alarm for everybody, but Butler remained calm, smiling and showing his best face against adversity. In the end, he dominated the Celtics again, closing the deal, securing the spot in the Finals and preventing Boston from returning after being down 0-3.
After the series, was over, he was awarded the Larry Bird trophy for the Eastern Conference Finals MVP.

Now the challenge will be huge for the Heat. They will face none other than the Denver Nuggets, who are set to keep making history and become NBA champions for the first time in franchise history.
Nikola Jokic is playing at a great level, and he’s had a group of players that don’t hide against adversity.
