Center Nikola Jokic is one of the top superstars in the league, and many believe that he is the best player in the world as of right now. Jokic has managed to lead the Denver Nuggets to the NBA Finals this year, and it looks as though he has a good chance of winning his first championship.

Recently, Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic offered some huge praise to Nikola Jokic. Djokovic claimed that Jokic is the “pride of Serbia” and added that he hopes the superstar can win his first championship this year.

“I don’t think anyone can do what he’s doing at the moment. Definitely the best basketball player in the world… He’s the pride of Serbia… We hope he can win his first ring.”

There is no doubt that Nikola Jokic is one of the best Serbian players to ever step foot in the NBA. He is dominating the league based purely on his vision and skill, and it is extremely fun to watch Jokic dissect opposing defenses.

In the playoffs, Nikola Jokic has put up 29.9 PPG, 13.3 RPG, and 10.3 APG for the Denver Nuggets. He has had an incredible run thus far, and hopefully, he becomes an NBA champion at the end of the season.

Richard Jefferson Thinks Nikola Jokic Is On One Of The Best Playoff Runs Ever

Nikola Jokic has clearly elevated his level in the playoffs, and it is easy to see why he was an MVP candidate this year. In fact, Richard Jefferson previously claimed that Jokic is on one of the best playoff runs ever.

“If Jokic is able to win a championship this year and continue the numbers he’s putting up. It will be one, two, or three greatest runs we have ever seen. He’s averaging a 30-point triple-double right now. He’s beaten KD, he’s beaten the Lakers. If they win their first championship, show me another run from start to finish. We’ve seen great runs from LeBron, and Kobe, but a 30-point triple-double? Throughout the postseason, we’ve never seen that before. You have to put it up there as one of the best performances ever. Coming off the heels of 2 MVPs, I don’t know where he ranks, but what he’s doing right now, it’s one of the most impressive things we’ve seen in the game of basketball.”

Of course, even though Nikola Jokic is doing well on an individual level, his run won’t be viewed in the same light by fans if he doesn’t win a championship. With that being said, the Nuggets have the talent to finish te job, and we’ll see what happens in the future.
