The Miami Heat need to come up with a response after losing 3 games in a row to the Boston Celtics. The Heat were up 3-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Celtics, but they have given up that lead and allowed the Celtics to force a Game 7.

Bam Adebayo has been criticized for his performances in the last 3 games. When asked about how he can be more efficient in Game 7, something he has struggled with so far, Adebayo gave a very simple and straightforward response.

“Make a f*cking shot”. Adebayo remarked. For me, man, just keep shooting the shots I’m shooting, I got confidence in myself like no other. For me, feels like a lid is on the rim. I gotta figure out how I can make that basketball go in.”

(From 2:23 mark)

Adebayo has struggled in the last 3 games of this playoff series. In Games 4, 5, and 6, Adebayo has averaged just 12.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.3 steals. During this stretch, Adebayo is shooting just 42.1% of his shots, and 62.5% of his free throws. Adebayo must be better going forward.

Is Time Up For The Miami Heat?

The Miami Heat looked to be in control when they went 3-0 up over the Boston Celtics. Much like the Denver Nuggets, they were just one win away from reaching the NBA Finals. While the Nuggets were able to sweep the Los Angeles Lakers, the Heat crumbled and allowed the Celtics to come back, and now must face the Celtics in a Game 7 in Boston.

Jimmy Butler seems to be confident in the abilities of himself and his teammates, as he guaranteed that the Heat will walk into the T.D. Garden and win the game and make their way to the NBA Finals. Will the Heat be able to win Game 7? We will find out when Game 7 tips off on Monday night from Boston
