Anthony Davis has been taking good care of his health over the last few months, and it resulted in the Los Angeles Lakers becoming one of the top teams in the Western Conference.
But in Game 5 of the second round, Davis exited the matchup with an injury after Kevon Looney hit him on the head. Davis was rushed to the locker room. According to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, members of the Golden State Warriors’ medical staff were waiting to evaluate the 30-year-old.
“There are members of the Warriors medical staff standing by outside the Lakers locker room, presumably to evaluate Anthony Davis.”

The Lakers and Warriors are currently locked into a thrilling Western Conference Semifinals series. Even though Davis plays for the opposing team, his health is more important than the series between the two sides.
There was a lot of confusion around AD’s health as he was escorted out of the arena in a wheelchair after the head injury.
Anthony Davis Avoided A Concussion After Clash With Kevon Looney
The Lakers need Anthony Davis to be at his sparkling best if they want to defeat the Warriors and advance to the next round of the playoffs.
Following his clash with Looney, many were genuinely concerned about his health. Fortunately, according to NBA reporter Chris Haynes, Davis has avoided a concussion.
“He was stumbling a little bit, you could tell his equilibrium was off,” Haynes said. “Then about five minutes later, they brought a wheelchair into the room, and from there, he was escorted to the room over all the way across the hall to the locker room. Sources have informed me that the early diagnosis is that Anthony Davis has avoided a concussion. He’s doing much better now. That is good news right now.”

As per Haynes, Davis should be able to get back on the roster for the decisive Game 6 of the series.
Before exiting Game 5, Davis recorded 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists. If Davis is healthy for the potential final game of the series, he will get some much-needed rest before playing in the Western Conference Finals.
