Austin Reaves has exploded onto the scene properly this season, putting in big performances in key moments to help the Los Angeles Lakers.

He has enjoyed big games in the playoffs as well, earning praise from the stars on his team, like LeBron James. And after his 21-point night against the Warriors after some quiet outings before Game 4, Lakers fans on Reddit showed Reaves some love.

Reaves was efficient and he carried the Lakers in the third quarter before Lonnie Walker took over in the fourth. One fan acknowledged the fact that Reaves got going despite a shaky start to the game.

Austin Reaves had 21 points on the night, which believe it or not, was more than any other Warriors player apart from Stephen Curry. This is a testament to his production but also a scathing indictment of the Warriors’ players.

There are several things that he could be praised for in his performance. However, the simple fact of the matter is that Reaves has what it takes to perform in the biggest moments. One fan put it as simply as possible.

The Los Angeles Lakers are blessed with a deep roster thanks to the moves they made. Rui Hachimura, D’Angelo Russell, and Lonnie Walker IV have all stepped up at different times alongside Reaves. It’s a good time to be a fan of the team.

If the Lakers can close this series out, Reaves will have the chance to perform on an even bigger stage. Whether he takes it or not is up to him, and it will be fun to see how it all pans out.

LeBron James Explained Exactly What Makes Austin Reaves So Good

It says something if a role player can impress LeBron James, considering how many teammates he has had during his career. But the King loves Reaves, and he recently explained why

“This m*****f****r, I don’t give a f**k about, like, athleticism; how great you can shoot the ball; how high you can jump; how fast you can run. I like high basketball IQ guys. Obviously, you got to have that s**t to win a championship. You got to have guys that can do extraordinary s**t. But, like, I’ve always had a liking to guys that just know how to play the f*****g game of basketball.”

The opportunity to be a part of this team is a great one for Reaves, especially with the exposure of a deep playoff run. He will surely get a big contract soon, it only remains to be seen if that will be with the Lakers.
