Jordan Poole is the latest NBA player to be at the receiving end of some serious criticism from around the league. The Warriors man is in a terrible run of form at the worst time, and neither the fans nor the media are willing to let it go.

Jordan Poole put up zero points in the Game 4 loss against the Los Angeles Lakers. He was unable to provide Stephen Curry with any help in a narrow loss, and Stephen A. Smith laid into him after the poor display.

“Jordan Poole. Last time I checked, he gets a check,” Stephen A. Smith said. “Last time I checked, he wears a Golden State uniform just like the rest of the team. Last time I checked, he’s on the team bus, he gets into the team hotel, he gets that per diem, he gets those mils. He’s got a salary, a $140 million contract. He got his bag, where the hell he been?”

These are all fair questions to ask considering that Jordan Poole has already shown the ability to excel on the basketball court. At a time when Stephen Curry is having to carry the scoring load alone, not having his production has become a real problem for the Warriors. Game 5 will be big for Jordan Poole, if he can’t make the most of his minutes, the criticism will only get worse over the offseason.

Gilbert Arenas Has Urged The Warriors To Consider Trading Jordan Poole

If the Warriors lose to the Lakers, the franchise will have some serious decisions to make. They have to consider moving on from certain pieces, although they probably didn’t anticipate Poole being one of them. But Gilbert Arenas seems to think they should think about moving on from him

“Watching Poole right now, I might trade him,” Arenas said.

There is no way to tell how the future will pan out, but his statistics aren’t even good enough for a mid-level role player right now. For someone expected to be a star after last season, such a big dip ends up being a terrible look. Jordan Poole has the talent, no one can dispute that, but he needs to figure something out quickly.
