LeBron James shared his thoughts on the Los Angeles Lakers facing the Golden State Warriors in the second round of the Western Conference playoffs.

According to The Athletic’s Jovan Buha: “LeBron on the key to facing the Warriors: “You can’t make a mistake. They’ll make you pay. You can’t make a mistake. It’s that simple.”

There is no more experienced in the Lakers unit than James, who has faced enough of the Warriors during his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers. All of his final encounters between 2014 and 2018 were against Golden State, and he ended up on the losing side thrice. The one time they won in 2016, it needed a mammoth effort from him after the Cavs were down 3-1.

Now, the Lakers, led by James and Davis, have the right pieces to take on the Warriors, but the veteran, in his 20 years in the league, has seen how the likes of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson can launch relentless onslaughts in the offensive end and can make teams pay.

Such has been the resilience and comeback from the Warriors that they trailed 0-2, only to come back and win 4-3 against the Sacramento Kings. As for James vs. Curry, the duo has had numerous skirmishes over the years in the playoffs, which our very own Divij Kulkarni has documented in his latest.

James and the Lakers will be gearing up for a stern test against the Warriors, and only time will tell if the 38-year-old can steer his side across the finish line.

Skip Bayless Picks LeBron James To Win The Battle Over Stephen Curry In The Second Round

NBA analyst Skip Bayless surprisingly picked LeBron James to win the second-round clash against Stephen Curry. And he took to Twitter to make the statement.

“Bring on Steph vs LeBron. I’m going with … LeBron,” Bayless tweeted soon after the Warriors won Game 7.

As far as playoff numbers go, James has averaged 22.2 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 5.2 assists, while Curry has averaged 33.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.9 assists against the Kings. Of course, the greatness and skill levels of these two players are more than just the numbers they put up.

It goes without saying that the James vs. Curry clash will be one for the ages and maybe even the last time we witness an epic battle of the Titans. This will be one humdinger of a series.
