Dillon Brooks and the Memphis Grizzlies started the 2023 NBA Playoffs, ready to make a statement and end the Los Angeles Lakers’ Cinderella run. However, the Purple and Gold were anything but an easy rival and are now on the verge of eliminating the Grizzlies.

Meanwhile, Brooks went from trying to bully LeBron James to becoming shy even in front of reporters. The controversial player has deleted all the posts he had on Instagram, and many fans took this opportunity to troll him.

Of course, many said this happened because of LeBron James, who didn’t say much about Brooks but played really hard to beat the Grizzlies.

One fan reminded people that the series isn’t over yet, but another one replied that seeing Brooks and Ja Morant’s behavior, it’s clear that the Lakers have won.

The way him & Ja acting, it’s over
LeBron & Cleveland go down 3-1 in the finals in 16 & they know they’re winning
LeBron never lost a game when up 3-1, he finishes business
Ja & Dillon been ducking media. They ain’t built for this like Bron is

Some people said he tried to be tough but the act didn’t last long.

One person wondered what happened to Brooks and when it happened.

Lowkey bro looks slightly challenged

Man I am an avid Dillon Brooks hater but at this point you gotta feel for him. I still wanna know where it went wrong. The guy used to be good. What happened?

It’s pretty clear that the player put himself under the spotlight and when the pressure piled up, he simply ran away. This is curious, knowing that he acted the same way against the Golden State Warriors last season, and even after the Dubs won the championship, Brooks kept talking his talk.

This season, things have been different. After poking the bear, he got scared, and when people asked him to respond to this, he just vanished. He went from calling out LeBron in the locker room to avoiding talking with the media in the past two games.

Damian Lillard Takes A Subtle Shot At Dillon Brooks

This behavior has raised many eyebrows around the NBA, and Damian Lillard recently took a subtle jab at him, calling him out for trying to be tough and then bailing on everybody when the situation gets hard.

It takes a lot to be successful in this league, and knowing how to take an L is important too. Brooks is somebody who thrives at his job, and he should stick to that. However, trying to act like something else, he got himself in trouble, and now it’s too late to change anything.
