The first-round series between the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings will go back to the Chase Center for Game 3 but will be without a key component for GSW.
Draymond Green was suspended for stomping on Domantas Sabonis in a polarizing decision. Charles Barkley isn’t happy about this being the talking point from the series instead of how good the Kings have been.
“What really bothers me about this whole thing, to be honest with you, we’re taking away from the fact that the Sacramento Kings are just kicking their ass.”

Even if these calls are to be argued, there’s no questioning the fact that the Kings have simply been the better team. They are the third seed and playing like it against the Warriors, who are the sixth seed.
Being without Draymond will be a massive challenge in Game 3, but the Kings have comprehensively shown they can beat the Warriors even when they’re healthy.
Are The Warriors Headed Toward A Series Loss?
Draymond Green is often considered overrated in terms of his on-court impact. This season, he’s leading the Warriors in blocks and plus/minus, proving that he’s an integral part of the Warriors’ defensive strategy in particular. Without him, stopping the Kings will have an added layer of difficulty.
Up until now, the Kings have done a great job. Mike Brown is using his years of experience on the Warriors’ bench to figure out the perfect ways to counter the motion offense that they’ve dominated the league with. The effort by the players has also been supreme, so it’ll be very interesting to see how they can keep this up when they go on the road.
