The Minnesota Timberwolves were without Rudy Gobert in their play-in loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, as Gobert was suspended because he punched Kyle Anderson in their last regular season game.
Gobert has come out and commented on the incident and revealed that he and Anderson have hashed it out privately.
“We both apologized to each other and you move on. That’s life. It’s different when you have millions of people all watching videos and have an opinion on things that happened, that we can’t control. What we can control is the respect we have for each other and how we handle our relationship I still love Kyle. He’s still my brother.”

The Minnesota Timberwolves will have their playoff hopes on the line tomorrow night when they take on the OKC Thunder. Gobert didn’t play against the Lakers but the Wolves will hope they can have the French center back and punish the small Thunder lineup into a loss.
Rudy Gobert’s Future Looking Uncertain?
It doesn’t look like Gobert has been the best fit in the Wolves’ locker room after being traded for most of the franchise’s rotation and future draft picks in the summer. The team paid a hefty price to acquire Gobert but it’s looking clear that the price may not be worth it for Minnesota.
If the chemistry is shot, Gobert needs to be moved before he loses value completely in the next few years. The team can still build around Anthony Edwards and are currently bare in terms of future assets. No team will pay remotely close to what Minny did to acquire him, but even a player or two that can be useful to them may give them a better chance at success.
