The NBA and the NBPA announced that the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James’ jerseys were the most popular and sold the most units.
The results were based on sales from the second half of the 2022-23 regular season — a period that saw the Lakers claw back from a wobbly run to cement a berth in the playoffs.

In second place was Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry, followed by Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Luka Doncic.
Phoenix Suns stars Devin Booker and Kevin Durant had some takers as well, as did Ja Morant and Dallas Mavericks’ star Kyrie Irving.
As far as team merchandise goes, the Lakers were followed by the Warriors and the Boston Celtics. The Suns, Milwaukee Bucks, and Chicago Bulls rounded up the top six. For official merchandise of all the teams, fans can check the official NBA site.
LeBron James Keeps His Word Of Making The Playoffs
Well, ahead of the massive trade moves the Lakers made ahead of the deadline, LeBron James made a bold promise of making the playoffs.
“I can/will NOT miss the postseasons again for my career! This s***t HURT. Ok back to watching these games,” the King had tweeted.
And he may have deleted the tweet since he ensured that the Lakers made the postseason. At the time of his claim, the Lakers were in 11th place and out of reckoning, but he played his part despite injuries. This regular season saw him average 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists.
James and LA will face a stern test in the form of the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the playoffs, and the climb to the top only gets tougher. But for now, the veteran has earned the faith of the Lakers faithful, and given their fightback, playoff sides will be wise not to count them out before they are officially out of title contention.
