An 18-year-old man was arrested for attempting to break into Michael Jordan’s house in Highland Park, Illinois, on Tuesday.
Identified as Raiden K. Hagedorn, the man was charged with three demeanors of criminal trespassing and two counts of property damage, according to a report by the Lake & McHenry County Scanner.
Highland PD found Hagedorn at Jordan’s house after neighbors alerted the authorities about a burglary. He was arrested and taken to the local jail, but the report also added that he was released on bond, and is slated to appear in court on April 20.
Per Sports Illustrated, the Chicago Bulls star no longer resides at the place, and he had put up the property spanning 56-square-foot on the market in 2012. The house garnered headlines for displaying his jersey number 23 at the entrance.

Right off the bat, the Bulls icon does not live in Chicago anymore. Per Marie Claire, the 60-year-old now lives in Jupiter, Florida. The feature also adds that his property is part of the exclusive community of ‘The Bear’s Club.’
His house reportedly includes 11 bedrooms, a full-size basketball court (no surprises there), and a media room that’s cigar-friendly— one shouldn’t be surprised about that either.
The amenities in the house pretty much bode with Jordan’s persona, who has always been larger than life. While he was a legend on the court, he has been an influential businessman off of it, leading former Nike’s executive Sony Vaccaro calling him “bigger than Bill Gates.”
In recent news, Jordan has been garnering buzz for trying to sell the Charlotte Hornets. It remains to be seen what the developments are on that front in the days to come.
