After struggling to prove his worth in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers, Russell Westbrook has found instant success since joining the Los Angeles Clippers.

But that doesn’t mean Westbrook has changed anything about his nature or the way he has handled criticism from fans. It was proven once again during the Clippers’ recent game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The security removed a fan from the arena upon Westbrook’s request.

Russell Westbrook tends to get fans ejected from games for various reasons. He once did so after a fan mocked him and did the ‘rock the baby’ celebration against Brodie. As for Westbrook getting the fan ejected in the game vs. the Grizzlies, several fans had hilarious reactions to it.

Comments have been edited for clarification:

“I like it! Fans have been getting away with a lot over the years. Happy to see them allowing the players to have some pull.”

“If Russ and Kyrie were on the same team, they’d clear out a whole arena.”

“It’s always the same four players kicking fans out, though?”

“These dudes are extra soft in the league, lol.”

“Fans have been real reckless at these games. For all that, stay home, curse your TV out, and go wild. That’s what I do, lol.”

“Westbrook is the biggest crybaby, always getting someone ejected.”

“Fans ain’t gonna be satisfied till it’s another Malice in the Palace situation!!”

“Kyrie last week, Russ this week, now all we need is Bron to do it next week, and all will be whole.”

“Fans need to be fans. These players are people as well.”

“It’s only two Russ and Kyrie getting people kicked out. These boys are just soft.”

“Russ got more fans kicked out than made shots.”

NBA fans trolled Russell Westbrook and Kyrie Irving for being two players who are always seen getting fans ejected from games. It has become a habit of the two superstars to get into altercations with fans over the years.

Kyrie Irving Got A Fan Ejected During The Mavericks vs. Hornets Game

Getting heckled by fans is part of the game. At one point or the other, every superstar in the league has faced this trouble with fans. But every player in the NBA has a different way of handling such situations.

Irving tends to confront fans and, at times, even gets them ejected from games. He did so during the Mavs vs. Hornets game recently. But did Irving have any reason for it? He explained the reason behind his decision to get the fan thrown out of the game in the postgame conference.

“He just called me on my name,” Kyrie said. “So I just had to make sure I looked him eye-to-eye and see if he’d say it to my face. A lot of fans say things when you’re turning your head, or they say it in the crowd because they can get away with it. But the majority of the time if I could look a fan in the face and see if they really want to say that to me. So he yelled it, I handled it.”

So, after listening to Irving’s reasoning, many may understand why he got the fan ejected from the game.

But at the end of the day, it’s hilarious to think about what may happen if Kyrie Irving and Russell Westbrook played for the same team. The two superstars have the potential to empty the entire stadium too.
