Over the years, fans have seen LeBron James dominate the game of basketball with his insane ability on the court.

James has achieved a plethora of achievements in his NBA career. The latest addition to it was surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record. LeBron James became the GOAT in the eyes of many fans after seeing that historic night. But will any other player play break LeBron’s record one day? Paul George thinks Luka Doncic has the talent to do so, but won’t for one huge reason.

“What he’s doing is unbelievable with those stats,” George said. “You look at what Luka is doing being the young version of LeBron in terms of passing, scoring and rebounding. From a numbers standpoint, Luka could probably catch Bron, but the longevity is what I don’t think people will get to.”

George continued praising LeBron James and even called him a superhuman for the way he has taken care of his body.

“Twenty years of being dominant,” George added. “I don’t think nobody will be cut that way to take care of your body, to be that on-point in the media, to be that on-point on the court. He’s a superhuman!”

Luka Doncic is currently one of the brightest superstars in the NBA. There are no doubts about Doncic’s ability to rack up points.

If he continues scoring at this pace in his career, he may one day break James’ record. But the bigger concern for Doncic is whether he will be able to maintain his fitness throughout his career or not. As good as Luka is, he is still not among the fittest players in the league.

LeBron James Is Not Done Adding More Points To His Career Total

Breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record was no small feat by LeBron James. Keeping LeBron’s insane longevity in mind, it’s will not be a surprise if he continues to add more to his points tally.

We recently did some calculation about how many more points can James score in his NBA career. After hours of work, we reached the conclusion that the 43,000 points mark is a very realistic target for James.

Of course, there is always the possibility that James could derail from that target due to injuries. After all, he seems to have caught the injury bug in recent time.
