Kevin Durant got traded to the Phoenix Suns this year, and this move will give him a legitimate chance to win at the highest level this season. He is still playing at an extremely high level and could be the difference-maker that ends up getting the Phoenix Suns their first championship.
Part of the reason that Kevin Durant is so good is his offensive versatility, and he can do almost anything on that end of the floor. In fact, former Warriors guard Quinn Cook called Durant the best offensive player he’s ever seen.
“I think offensively he’s a three-level scorer, but he handles it like a guard, he has a post-game, just how efficient he is. My favorite thing is how efficient he is… he gets double-teamed, and he gets denied… He’s definitely the best offensive guy I’ve ever seen”, said Quinn Cook.

There is no doubt that Kevin Durant has been stellar this year, and he has definitely had a superstar-type season. It will be interesting to see how he does in the playoffs this year, especially after he had a poor postseason outing with the Nets last season.
As of right now, Kevin Durant is averaging 29.7 PPG, 6.7 RPG, and 5.2 APG, and if he played more games, perhaps he’d be in the running for the MVP award. Hopefully, he wins a championship this season, and we’ll see what ends up happening in the future.
Kevin Durant Thinks Critics Have Unfair Expectations Of Him
There is no doubt that many have criticized Kevin Durant over the course of the last few years. Many, such as Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley, believe that Kevin Durant needs to win a championship as the undisputed best player on a squad. Recently, Kevin Durant suggested that the critics have unfair expectations of him.
“Most definitely. Because at this point, they’re saying, go play with Scoot Henderson and win a championship and then we’ll give you credit,” Durant said. “I don’t need no credit from y’all, no credit from [Barkley], no credit from Shaq. Y’all don’t ever have to watch me play ever again, don’t talk about me if you don’t [rock] with me. I’m not gonna stop doing what I do. Everybody has their opinions, man. It’s not gonna stop me and how I approach the game.
It will be interesting to see if the criticism subsides if Kevin Durant wins a championship this season. He will definitely be the best player on the Suns and seems like a likely candidate to win the FMVP award.
