Michael Jordan and LeBron James have been compared a lot in recent years, as many people have different opinions on who is the undisputed NBA GOAT.

For Magic Johnson, who has his former rival and friend Jordan as the greatest of all time, LeBron still needs to do a couple of things before he can overtake His Airness.

“I don’t know. It might take a couple more championships to do that. LeBron is special. I don’t want people to always get mad over this. We have got to celebrate both guys. Michael is the best, and we should celebrate him and we should celebrate LeBron,” Magic said on The Dan Patrick Show (10:41 mark).

Magic also discussed why he thinks there’s nobody better than Jordan in his eyes, bringing up Mike’s record in the Finals and the big performances he had during those incredible runs. He still gave LeBron his flowers.

“I hate when people get mad at you if you take one or the other, and we should just say, ‘hey, Michael is special.’ And he’s the best to me because he never lost in the NBA Finals and he’s averaged over 37 points a game. The guy is just unbelievable. But LeBron is special in his own right too, and people shouldn’t forget that either,” Johnson added.

This remains a hot topic in the NBA and even though legends like Johnson call Jordan the greatest to ever do it, other people will find a reason to support LeBron, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, or whoever they pick as the GOAT.

Who Is The GOAT: Michael Jordan Or LeBron James?

The GOAT debate has become a hot topic around the league once again and many people have given their opinion about it. We’ve made compilations of legends and superstars picking Jordan or LeBron as the greatest to ever do it, as well as comparisons between His Airness and the King.

To find out who is the GOAT, it’s important to know who won more NBA awards and accolades, with Michael Jordan winning that one. Then we have a career comparison where we compare Jordan and James in separate categories, which gave Michael Jordan the win.

Last but not least, we explained why Michael Jordan remains the GOAT over LeBron James, even after breaking the all-time scoring record, and it seems that a lot of people agreed with that.

As the days go by, this debate gets hotter, and many people will have different opinions on it, including legends of the game.
