The guard finished with 26 points, 2 rebounds, and 6 assists as the Lakers, minus the services of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and D’Angelo Russell, notched up a much-needed win to get closer to making the postseason.

Anthony Davis Expected To Play Against The Timberwolves, But D’Angelo Russell And LeBron James Set To Miss The Clash
The Lakers will receive a boost in the form of Anthony Davis as they gear up to take the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. The big man will be expected to shoulder the scoring load in James and Russell’s absence.
However, with Schroder, Austin Reaves, and Lonnie Walker IV in the mix and chipping in with sizeable contributions, the Lakers will breathe easy and not worry about their heavy reliance on James, who is set to miss at least two weeks of basketball action.
Their win against the Thunder now puts the Purple and Gold 30-33, a win away from breaking into the top 10 — something they have struggled to do all season long. With 19 games left, the side needs to win as many as they can to give themselves the best chance to bag a postseason berth.
The Lakers have two tough assignments coming up. They take on a belligerent Timberwolves on Friday, followed by a skirmish against the Golden State Warriors after.
