LeBron James was out for the Los Angeles Lakers during the team’s recent game against the Golden State Warriors, but it didn’t end up mattering. The Lakers got a convincing win, despite them missing their superstar.

It is clear that the Los Angeles Lakers got much better after the trade deadline, and there is no doubt that they are a more well-rounded team since they added more 3PT shooting and athleticism. It seems as though LeBron James himself is happy as he reacted to the team’s recent win.

Yessir!! Great team win tonight fellas! #LakeShow

Many have already stated that the Los Angeles Lakers were one of the winners ahead of the trade deadline, and it is definitely looking like that thus far. New acquisitions Jarred Vanderbilt, and D’Angelo Russell were both key in the team’s recent win against the Golden State Warriors, and hopefully, we see their good performances continue.

Of course, one win is definitely not enough to judge how good of a team the current Los Angeles Lakers are. However, this is definitely a good start for them, and they’ll get even better when LeBron James returns.

LeBron James Is Currently Dealing With A Foot Injury

As of right now, LeBron James is dealing with a foot injury, with the superstar reportedly “severely struggling” with it recently. The report also noted that this might be something that “lingers all season.”

“I was told the record breaking game, LeBron was severely struggling with that foot injury he has. It is something that has been nagging him for a few weeks already. It gets to points where it just gets unbearable and he plays through it… The way it’s explained to me is that might be something that lingers all season long, but it reached the dire point.”

There is no doubt that this is concerning, and hopefully, LeBron James feels good enough to play going forward. Historically, LeBron James has tried to play every game possible, and it is likely that he will return to the court soon to try and help the Los Angeles Lakers make the playoffs.

After the trade deadline, the Los Angeles Lakers look like an entirely different team based on the small sample we have. The key is going to be consistency, and hopefully, we see the team go on a winning run going forward. They have a real chance to make the playoffs despite their disastrous start, and we’ll see what happens in the future.
