Shaquille O’Neal is one of the greatest players to have ever played in the NBA and he has had a fine career on television as well, but there is no denying that the big man is quite thin-skinned. Shaq does not take kindly to any kind of disrespect, no matter how light-hearted it might be.

O’Neal recently admitted that he didn’t know who Rui Hachimura was before he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, which led to Kevin Durant hilariously asking “Shaquille doesn’t know ball?” Shaq responded by firing shots at Durant and he wasn’t done, as he shared an interesting graphic to defend himself after that.

“who needs to kno ball, when you kno how to ball?”

“THEMOSTDOMINANTBALLER EVER”

Shaq was clearly quite offended by that remark and felt the need to put his accomplishments out there. Durant hilariously responded by stating that O’Neal has a very impressive resume.

“Impressive resume Shaquille, im proud of you!!!!”

Durant just seems to be having a lot of fun with this and you can’t blame him. Shaq has overblown the situation a bit too much and we have seen him do this in the past as well.

Shareef O’Neal Explained Why His Father Disses Players Like Rui Hachimura

Hachimura isn’t the first one to be dissed in that manner by Shaq and he definitely won’t be the last. While it would come across as disrespectful to a lot of people, his son Shareef O’Neal explained that Shaq has a reason why he acts in that manner.

Shareef stated that his father says things like this because he wants players to shut him up and prove him wrong. It seems to be his way of motivating the player and Shaq would, no doubt, love it if Hachimura proves him wrong and plays a significant role at some point in helping the Lakers get back on top.
