Draymond Green has been known for having strong opinions about himself and other stars in the NBA. The Golden State Warriors player has become famous for making bold claims, and he’s not stopping anytime soon.

While most fans call him out for constantly talking about LeBron James and praising him nonstop, Green keeps doing his thing no matter what people say about him. He’s very confident in himself, and proof of that is his claim that he’ll be a Hall of Famer after his career is over.

Moreover, the 4x NBA champion keeps finding similarities between himself and other stars, including young talent. Before he made his way to the league, Scottie Barnes Jr. was compared to Draymond, but it’s easy to say that skill-wise, Barnes has surpassed Green.

Draymond Green Is Impressed By Scottie Barnes’ Big Level

Following the Golden State Warriors 129-117 win over the Toronto Raptors, Draymond showered Barnes in praise, explaining how great he’s done during his first couple of seasons in the league, predicting a really good career for the 2022 Rookie of the Year.

“He could be a lot better than me,” Green told The Athletic after the game. “I saw a tweet the other day that said, ‘Scottie Barnes’ floor is Draymond Green.’ And that’s a damn good floor. And I believe that. He’s such a special talent.”

“I love his game because it’s not predicated on sheer skill or sheer will,” Green said. “It’s a mixture of all of that. It’s a mixture of skill. It’s a mixture of will. It’s a mixture of smarts. It’s a mixture of length and athleticism.”

Scottie’s Raptors have struggled this season, and the player hasn’t shown the same things he did last campaign. Still, the second-year player is seen as a really important player on the Canadian team. Rumors have it that everybody but him can be moved before the 2023 trade deadline, which shows how important he is for the 2019 NBA champions.

Green and his Warriors are trying to climb positions in the West, ranking 7th in the standings right now, but they are hopeful that things will change anytime soon. Scottie is really a good talent who can do good on both ends of the floor, and we will definitely keep hearing about him if he keeps getting better.
