Over the last decade or so, the Golden State Warriors have established themselves as one of the top teams in the NBA. They have won four NBA Championships in the last eight seasons, with the most recent one coming in the 2021-22 NBA season.

The Warriors are the defending champions of the NBA, but so far in the 2022-23 NBA season, the Dubs’ campaign has been full of ups and downs. On one hand, they have one of the best home records in the league, but on the other, when it comes to road games, the Warriors have failed to find consistency.

As a result, the Warriors have a 20-19 record and hold the 9th seed in the Western Conference. In the absence of Stephen Curry over the last few weeks, the likes of Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole have stepped up for the team and have kept them somewhat competitive.

Draymond Green On The Warriors’ 2022-23 NBA Season

Draymond Green recently announced his return to podcasting in Michael Jordan style. Although he was brutally trolled by fans for it, at the end of the day, Green provides quality content with his podcast.

In the glimpses of his podcast’s new episode, Green talked about Ja Morant’s huge claims about the Western Conference. Apart from that, Draymond also shared his thoughts on the Golden State Warriors‘ campaign so far this season.

"This team has started to find its identity"

“Our season’s a little weird as you know. Best record in the league at home, at 17-2, it’s incredible. Worst record in the league on the road, at 3-16, which is awful. … Most importantly, this team has started to find its identity. And for me, that’s more important than what the home record says right now or what the road record says right now. Over the last five games, I think this team has truly started to build an identity, and every great team has an identity.”

As Green mentioned, the Warriors are having two very different seasons at home and on the road. But at the end of the day, if they can truly build great chemistry and identity as the season progresses, they can get back to winning ways and ultimately see fruitful results come playoff time.
