Bradley Beal is one of the best high-volume scorers in the NBA. Though his production has declined due to him having other elite scorers like Kristaps Porzingis and Kyle Kuzma on the roster, it is clear that Beal is a professional at getting buckets. As of right now, Bradley Beal is averaging 22.9 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and 5.2 APG.

There is no doubt that Bradley Beal has been mentioned in a number of trade rumors due to his basketball situation with the Washington Wizards. They are already rumored to be shopping Kyle Kuzma, and Bradley Beal could be the next domino to fall.

Recently, Bill Simmons of The Ringer proposed a blockbuster trade that would send Bradley Beal to the Philadelphia 76ers. Bradley Beal seems like the perfect go-to scorer next to James Harden and Joel Embiid. (40:59)

“I would trade Beal… I wonder if there’s a Philly trade. This is a good ‘who says no’: Maxey and Harris for Beal. And I think Philly would say no, even though if I told you you could have Embiid, Harden, and Beal on the same team a year ago, that would’ve seemed insane.

It remains to be seen if a deal with this framework would ever come to pass. That would definitely be a risk for the Philadelphia 76ers, but the upside of Bradley Beal could potentially be worth it.

There Are Other Teams Who Could Move For Bradley Beal

There is no doubt that if Bradley Beal were to ever become available, he would have a lot of suitors due to his scoring ability. In fact, a recent report suggested that the Los Angeles Lakers could be a team that lands him through the “manipulation of the market.”

The Los Angeles Lakers have popped up in multiple reports for the star scoring guard. That would require a typical Lakers-Esque manipulation of the market to force Washington’s hand to give him away for very little beyond Russell Westbrook’s eventually-expiring contract and their two future first-round picks in 2027 and 2029.

Bradley Beal could potentially thrive on both the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers. Both teams need to improve their offense and add more talent to the squad, and Beal would help in that department.

With that being said, there is still a chance that Bradley Beal stays on the Washington Wizards, as he has historically been loyal to the franchise, and the team has not actively been trying to move. We’ll just have to wait to see what will happen in the future.
