LeBron James is not having a fun time on the court this season. While James is in a rich vein of form and scoring efficiently and effortlessly, the Lakers look to be doomed again. In 11 minutes without him on the court against the Dallas Mavericks, the Lakers were -21, a shocking indicator of how far behind this roster is.
Nonetheless, the fans are getting to marvel at LeBron’s greatness as he moves towards breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record. His scoring seems unaffected by age, so it’s a matter of when and not if. Unless LeBron hurts himself, which he almost did in a recent game, he’ll certainly obtain the record very soon.
James was running up the court but managed to trip over himself, causing fans to make jokes at his expense on Twitter.

These reactions are hilarious. Even LBJ can have the humor to laugh at himself for a small mistake like this. Players trip all the time, like when Stephen Curry slipped while going for an open dunk. Bloopers happen and shouldn’t be taken too seriously.
LeBron James Wasting His Time With The Lakers?
Fans often blame LeBron James for the team situations he lands himself in. Everyone knows that LeGM holds immense power in the teams he plays for, but the Lakers seem different. Everyone openly recognizes that a disservice is being done to LBJ and Anthony Davis by Rob Pelinka and Jeanie Buss for their passivity in the trade market.
Roster construction was ruined the second they traded for Russell Westbrook and they have done nothing to remedy it. Instead, LeBron sits on the bench and watches his coach roll out 5-guard lineups. It’s a sad sight to see LeBron exhausted on the floor after poor execution by teammates makes another classic performance go to waste. Hopefully, things improve soon or LBJ might have no choice but to leave.
