Ja Morant has announced big news today ahead of the Memphis Grizzlies Christmas Day matchup against the Golden State Warriors. The 2022 NBA MIP is playing at a great level right now, leading his team to fight for the top spot in the Western Conference standings.

He’s ready to take revenge on the Dubs, who ruined the Grizz’s chances to become NBA champions last season. Morant is set to win a big game and isn’t worried about anything.

Morant has been getting big news recently, and today, he will fulfill another dream when he faces the Warriors at Chase Center. Ja was set to get a signature shoe after Nike cut ties with Kyrie Irving, and the shoes are debuting tonight.

Kevin Durant Laments That Ja Morant Gets Signature Shoes, But Is Still Happy For Him

Morant appeared in a video with his daughter Kaari to present the shoe. They look really cool, and the player appears to be really happy with them. This news drew many reactions around the league, and one of the best sellers in the association reacted to that.

Kevin Durant is happy to see that Ja is getting his own shoes, but he also admitted that it’s hard to know that he won’t wear any KD sneakers anymore.

It’s a sad day knowing Ja will never hoop in the KD4s again….great start for 12 brand with these… https://t.co/E2OsR3tWkh

“It’s a sad day knowing Ja will never hoop in the KD4s again….great start for 12 brand with these…,” the 2x NBA champion wrote on Twitter.

This is great news for Ja, who is looking like a superstar in this campaign. The Grizzlies are ready to compete against anybody in the West, and he believes nobody can touch them until the NBA Finals.

Tonight, they will have a big challenge against the defending NBA champions, but the Dubs want to send a message, and a big win against the Grizzlies will do wonders for them. Without Stephen Curry, the job will be harder, but you should never underestimate the heart of a champion.
