A rejuvenated Los Angeles Lakers unit will take on the Detroit Pistons in a home game on Friday, and by the looks of it, they will field a full-strength squad with Dennis Schroder and Thomas Bryant suiting up for the first time this ,.

The Lakers will also see LeBron James take the floor after missing two games earlier due to a left adductor strain. He sat out in the loss to the Sacramento Kings and a comeback win against the Brooklyn Nets.

Recent reports say that the 37-year-old took part in the non-contact part of the practice on Thursday, much like he did on Wednesday as well. With the injury not deemed serious, there is every chance that the Lakers superstar will be in the starting lineup against the Pistons, who come off a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Ahead of the Friday skirmish, here’s a look at the Lakers’ injury roster.

LeBron James And Anthony Davis Listed As Day-To-Day Against The Detroit Pistons

LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been regular fixtures on the Lakers’ injury report since the start of the season. The latter has been battling back issues but has been a constant presence, missing just one game. James has missed three of the 13 games played so far.

It’s highly likely that James will play the Pistons as their next six-game stretch pits them against sides they can notch up wins against.

According to ESPN, both superstars were listed as day-to-day. Joining them was Juan Toscano-Anderson with mild back soreness. It’s a refreshing sight to see Schroder and Bryant not featured in the list after making full recoveries from their respective thumb injuries.

Missing out on some action will be Max Christie. The rookie entered the health and safety protocols on Wednesday. He has been part of the rotation, largely due to the injuries to some of the major names. According to Silver Screen And Roll, Christie has logged 20.2 minutes per game, averaging 4.5 points.

Cole Swider will continue to miss more games for the Lakers. But with ample reinforcements, Los Angeles will look to get some wins under their belt.

The Lakers will take on the San Antonio Spurs and the Phoenix Suns after their clash against Detroit.
