NBA Fan Posts Hilarious Edited Video Of Stan Van Gundy Showing Off His Handles And Crossing Up NBA Players

Stan Van Gundy is a former NBA coach that is currently an analyst, and there is no doubt that he has a lot of experience with the NBA. He made the NBA Finals during his time as the coach of the Orlando Magic, and he most recently coached the New Orleans Pelicans.

As a coach, there are definitely times when Stan Van Gundy has had to impart knowledge to his players. Recently, a fan posted a video that featured Stan Van Gundy teaching his players how to dribble. The video ended up going viral due to it being an edit, as the fan added footage of NBA players getting crossed over, making it look like Stan Van Gundy was breaking their ankles.

There is no doubt that this video is a hilarious one, and it’s definitely fun to watch Stan Van Gundy cross up NBA players like Paul George and LeBron James, even if it was clearly fake. While Stan Van Gundy never played in the league, he had a really good record as an NBA coach, going 554-425. One doesn’t get to the Finals by accident, and even though Van Gundy’s team ended up losing in the 2009 Finals, there’s no shame in losing to a team led by Kobe Bryant, as he is widely considered to be a top-5 player of all time.

Hopefully, we see Stan Van Gundy get another coaching opportunity at some point. While his tenure with the New Orleans Pelicans wasn’t successful, he can definitely be a solid coach if given the right roster. There are a few teams in the league that could use a hard-nosed, defense-first coach like him, and we’ll see if he ends up getting a call from a franchise at some point in the future.
