LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers had a tumultuous 2021/22 NBA season. Even though the King was great individually, the team failed to meet expectations, unable to even make the play-in tournament despite having a Big 3 of LeBron, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook.

This offseason presents a huge opportunity for the Purple and Gold to get things together, and they started the right way, landing Darvin Ham as their new head coach following Frank Vogel’s departure. They need to work now on finding the right role for Russell Westbrook, one of the biggest issues last season, while trying to get all their stars at the best level.

LeBron James started working on it as soon as the season ended for his team, hitting the gym early in the postseason to be in the best shape when the 2022/23 season starts. The King has already teased what’s coming for the rest of the league, showing his excitement to face a new challenge next campaign.

More recently, LeBron shared a workout video, showing a glimpse of what’s coming for the competition. James isn’t done just yet, but he knows he has to take advantage of these years he still has at the top of his game to try to win one or two more titles.

“It’s just WORK! And the thing is I want MORE! #ADDICTED #YEAR20Comingsoon #ThekidfromAKRON .” LeBron captioned the pic with.

The Lakers are hopeful that they can compete for big things with their Big 3 untouched, but the Purple and Gold have been linked with different moves recently, especially one for Brooklyn Nets’ disgruntled star Kyrie Irving. A reunion with LeBron James would be great for Irving, but a lot needs to happen before we see that happening.

Meanwhile, the 4x NBA champion is working out to prove doubters wrong and demonstrate that neither he nor the Lakers are done after two bad seasons.
