The entire city of San Francisco has been consumed by celebration ever since the Golden State Warriors won the 2022 NBA Championship. It was the fourth ring for the Dubs in six NBA Finals appearances and the first since 2018.
This championship run meant a lot to the franchise, as they had struggled for the past two seasons. Kevin Durant leaving, Steph Curry getting injured, Klay Thompson getting injuries, the Dubs fans saw their team go through a lot of crushing moments.
But after defeating the Boston Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals, they have been celebrating vigorously. Just recently, the Warriors conducted their championship parade, which gave fans a lot of hilarious moments.
Klay Thompson, in particular, was on a streak of funny moments. He accidentally tackled a woman, almost lost his ring, and danced like Michael Jackson in front of the trophy.
Yet Klay wasn’t the only person who was on a streak of doing weird things. In fact, a random woman did something weirder. She tried to approach Stephen Curry and leaned into him for a kiss. Curry quickly dodged her and looked at her with a befuddled expression.
Curry’s reaction was completely understandable as the 4-time NBA champion has long been married to Ayesha Curry. So the Golden State Warriors superstar would have landed in huge trouble at home if he didn’t stop that kiss attempt from the random support of the Warriors.
At the end of the day, Curry wasn’t even at fault here. The female supporter should have known better than to lunge in for a forced kiss. It’s understandable some fans are willing to do anything to get closer to their favorite players. But she certainly crossed a line here amidst the Warriors’ 2022 NBA Championship parade.
