Kyle Kuzma And Alex Caruso Are Upset After Watching The Warriors Trophy Parade: “We Didn’t Even Have One Wth!”

The Golden State Warriors were having the time of their lives during the trophy parade for their 2022 NBA championship, as they should have. After two very disappointing campaigns, the Warriors reminded the NBA world just why they have been the most decorated team in the league over the last decade and that they’re not going away just yet.

While the rest of the league probably watched them celebrate with gritted teeth, a couple of players, in particular, seemed quite upset. Those two were Alex Caruso and Kyle Kuzma, who tweeted their displeasure as they witnessed it but they weren’t upset at the Warriors, as their issue was with the fact that they weren’t able to celebrate their 2020 triumph.

Caruso tweeted out how he was sick watching the parade to which Kuzma responded that they didn’t even get to have one. The two of them were vital role players for the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2019-20 season as they helped win the franchise its first championship since 2010. Of course, the COVD-19 pandemic was still causing havoc in the USA at that time and they weren’t allowed to have a parade because of it.

Lakers owner Jeanie Buss had stated after the win that they will celebrate with Laker nation when it’s safe but nothing has happened since. LeBron had also spoken about his disappointment at not getting a parade, as he felt for the players for whom it was their first title, like Caruso and Kuzma.

It doesn’t look like there will be a parade, no matter how much that upsets the players who were involved, and if they are desperate to have one, then they should probably try and win the title next season. While Kuzma’s Wizards and Caruso’s Bulls are unlikely to make a run, their former team will be hoping to recapture the magic from back then. Just like the Warriors, the Lakers have endured two difficult seasons that were marred by injuries and they will be hoping for a similar turnaround in 2022-23.
