There are a lot of people currently living on planet Earth, so there’s no doubt that some people could end up looking similar to others. The same goes for celebrities: they are also people, and they have people that look like them.
Recently, Youtuber BigDawsTv took advantage of himself looking like Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson to get into Chase Center and get some shots ahead of Game 5. He was subsequently banned from Chase Center for trespassing and taking those shots on the court. With that being said, he said that it was absolutely worth it to get banned and lose 10K on the tickets he bought, as he “was an NBA player for 10 minutes”.
It is absolutely insane that the BigDawsTv managed to get into the arena by pretending to be Klay Thompson without alarming anyone. While one can see the resemblance he has with Klay Thompson, there are definitely noticeable differences in how they look. In a Tweet, BigDawsTv mentions that the security let him through without asking for an ID, and that is definitely not optimal.
Banned bc I walked pass 5 layers of security guards (who willingly let me through security without asking for ID) & shot around on the court for 10 minutes. I also spent 10K on tickets which they are not refunding. Why should I be banned because their security is incompetent?

Was it worth it to lose 10K on tickets and be banned for life? Absolutely. I was an NBA player for 10 minutes bro

While this is definitely a funny situation to look upon as fans, there’s no doubt that the security in Chase Center should do a better job of checking people’s ID in the future, even if they look like NBA players that frequent the building.
The Golden State Warriors could potentially close out their Finals series in Game 6 in Boston. Klay Thompson has a history of showing up in Game 6 and perhaps the Warriors will get another elite game from him. While it looks as though his lookalike BigDawsTv won’t necessarily be attending the game in person, perhaps he will have fun supporting Thompson and watching it on a screen.
