There are at best 3 more games left before this NBA season comes to its conclusion, meaning that most teams are in full offseason mode as they try to improve their fortunes enough for next season to be involved at this stage next year. One of the teams that took a major leap last season and will want to continue growing is the Chicago Bulls.

The Bulls franchise has struggled to be relevant in the past few seasons but adding the likes of DeMar DeRozan, Nikola Vucevic, and Lonzo Ball to a team already featuring Zach LaVine made them a playoff team instantly. However, rumors are swirling around them already, with Zach LaVine being a free agent and being linked to a multitude of other teams, especially the Portland Trail Blazers

Rumors abound in trade season, and not all of them are legitimate, so when a player finds one particularly egregious, they tend to call it out these days on social media. Rudy Gobert has done it earlier this year and now so had Bulls man Nikola Vucevic, who has questioned a report that claimed to know ‘what he thinks.’

“Wait how do they know what I’m thinking???”

The report is about a potential trade with the Utah Jazz involving Vucevic that could supposedly land the Bulls Rudy Gobert, but it states that Vucevic thinks he will remain in Chicago. That seems to be what the big man has taken exception to, considering that unless he told them, there is no way for that reporter to know what he thinks.

In reality, it makes sense to take both, player statements and trade rumors, with a pinch of salt during this time of the year. The possibilities are endless but the real business rarely happens before the draft and any trade potentially involving Vucevic would surely signal a lot more smoke before it finally took place, if indeed, it does.
