The Golden State Warriors seemed to have their backs to the walls when the Boston Celtics went up 91-86, with just over 7 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. It seemed like a repeat of Game 3 when the Celtics just took over the game in the fourth, but this time around, the Warriors had an answer for them.

Golden State would end the game on a 21-6 run to get the 107-97 win and tie up this series at 2 games apiece, heading into Game 5 in San Francisco. Steph Curry was magical once again as he finished with a game-high 43 points with his team staring down a potential 3-1 deficit. Twitter was full of praise for Curry, who near single-handedly led the Warriors to the win here.

While the Warriors would be delighted with this victory, they do need the rest of the crew to step up. Expecting Curry to pull off these all-time great performances in 2 of the next 3 games might be asking a bit too much of him and the likes of Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson need to step up. Andrew Wiggins was really the only other Warrior who showed up here and that can’t be the case from Game 5.

As for the Celtics, they’d be gutted after failing to close out this one. They had capitalized on some early turnovers from Golden State in the fourth quarter to seemingly seize control of the game, but Curry was not to be denied this time around. This win also meant the Warriors have now won at least one road game in 27 straight playoff series, which is the longest streak in NBA history. They now take the momentum with this series heading to a best of 3 and we potentially have an all-time great Finals on our hands here.
