The Golden State Warriors rallied late in Game 4 to overturn a 91-86 deficit and they went on to win the game 107-97 to tie up the NBA Finals at 2-2. Steph Curry was simply sensational as he led all scorers for the 4th game in a row with 43 points. While Curry was otherworldly, the other members of the Warriors’ Big 3 didn’t have the best of time.

Klay Thompson had a somewhat decent game with 18 points, but he was 7-17 from the field and Draymond Green was well below par once again. Green finished with 2 points on 1-7 shooting and while he did he have 9 rebounds to go with 8 assists, he was the only Warriors starter to play over 30 minutes and not finish with a positive +/-. They played better with him off the floor and Kevon Looney, who played over Green at times, was a game-high +21. NBA Twitter once again had some fun at Green’s expense who got benched for parts of the fourth quarter as well.

It has been a rough Finals for Draymond with the exception of Game 2 and he even had his mother wondering what is wrong with him at this point. It was his second successive game of scoring just 2 points and while the rest of his stats look decent, he just wasn’t good. The Warriors need to see more of his Game 2 version as they can’t expect Curry to continue to put up such magical performances against this Celtics defense.

The Warriors have finally regained their home-court advantage in this series but if Green continues to have these stinkers, they’re going to lose it in Game 5. The Celtics are going to come out strong in that one and they need Draymond to set the tone on defense and be his aggressive self in a good way on offense.
