If someone were to discuss the best players of all-time, they cannot leave the names of Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson out of it. In fact, the rivalry between Magic and Bird is considered to be arguably one of the greatest ever.

Moreover, since they played for the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics, it further added spice to their rivalry. After all, the two basketball franchises are tied for being the most successful ones in the NBA.

Anyway, the third person that we mentioned, Michael Jordan, really needs no introduction. MJ spent the majority of his career with the Chicago Bulls and dominated the league like no one else.

So when the trio played together for the 1992 USA Dream Team, the competition was already over for the opponents. But The Dream Team had other amazing superstars on the team as well.

What if MJ, Magic, and Bird played a 3-on-3 tournament? Their opponents could be any combo of the three best players in the history of the league. Well, a similar question was asked by Slam on Twitter and NBA fans gave some pretty amazing answers to that.

Apart from fans, renowned NBA analyst Shannon Sharpe also took part in the hypothetical competition and answered the question. Sharpe chose KD, Bron, and Kobe as his picks to defeat the trio of MJ, Magic, and Bird.

This is a pretty controversial take by Sharpe and his answer got a lot of responses from NBA fans on Twitter. Focusing on the players he chose, in our opinion, they might defeat MJ, Magic, and Bird in a 3-on-3 tournament.

Johnson and Bird will be somewhat of a liability on the defensive end of the court and the likes of KD and Kobe will take full advantage of that. Also, the size of LeBron James will prove to be an issue for them as well.

But hey, we are not trying to convince anyone to agree with us. After all, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
