Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have grown into the superstar duo that the Celtics had hoped they would be when they drafted the two players in 2016 and 2017. The duo is one game away from leading the Celtics back to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010.

Tatum and Brown have played together for 5 seasons now, and both players have grown into superstars in the NBA. Their chemistry ranks up there among some of the best NBA duos.

Jayson Tatum spoke about his chemistry with Jaylen Brown after the Celtics’ dominant Game 5 win over the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Tatum noted that he and Brown have played together for his entire stint in the league, and he knows when Brown has found a rhythm and what he needs to do as a teammate to keep him going and make sure he finds Brown in the best position possible on every play.

"He's my teammate for five years.. I knew he had it going? (tonight's game).. me bringing the ball up just trying to find him, find the hot hand.. That's just something we've got so much better at.."

“He’s my teammate for five years. (We) Watch a lot of film together, and talk a lot throughout the game. I knew he had it going (tonight’s game)… Me bringing the ball up just trying to find him, find the hot hand for him to make the right play. That’s just something we’ve got so much better at over the course of these last couple of years.”

Tatum and Brown have been phenomenal throughout the course of this playoff run for the Celtics, and have been the two standout players for the Celtics. And the Celtics have benefitted greatly from their play.

But Tatum also said after the game that they are not underestimating the Miami Heat despite them being up 3-2 in the series, and they know that they have to be decisive and finish them off soon. With Tatum and Brown playing the way they have been, there is no reason to believe that they will disappoint against the Heat.
