Skip Bayless Blasts LeBron James After Lakers-Clippers Game: “I’d Trust Reggie Jackson In The Clutch More Than LeBron James.”

LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers couldn’t get past their city rivals Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night, missing a big opportunity to start the final part of the season with the right foot. The Clips beat the Lakers 105-102 after the latter missed big opportunities to tie the game, earning plenty of criticism in the process.

James’ decision of passing the ball during the final seconds of the game, even when he was triple-teamed, raised many eyebrows around the league, and several people criticized him for that.

Somebody that didn’t miss his chance was Skip Bayless, who took to Twitter to send a big message to LeBron while criticizing his clutchness. The controversial analyst compared the King to Clippers’ Reggie Jackson, picking the latter as the most clutch player between the two.

“I’d trust Reggie Jackson in the clutch more than LeBron James.”

Bron had a modest night, scoring 21 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for the Lakers. Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony both scored 18 points, but it wasn’t enough to get past the Clips, who have dominated the Lakers in their recent matchups.

The Lakers keep struggling this season, and after not making a move before the trade deadline, nobody knows how they can make things better. The Purple and Gold are nothing like the team that won the championship in 2020.

Skip Bayless is always ready to trash LeBron and this time wasn’t the exception. The Lakers are now five games under the .500 mark, while the Clips boast a 31-31 record, having a pretty comfortable advantage over the 17-time NBA champions.

We’re entering the final stretch of the season and it’s time for the Lakers to get things together if they want to at least make it to the play-in tournament.
