The New York Knicks completed a surprising comeback against the Boston Celtics and won the game at Madison Square Garden. It was an incredible second wind from the Knicks, who showed great determination in clawing back into the game and eventually getting the win after an incredible game-winner from RJ Barrett.

But it was another Knicks start that was the subject of some of the fans voicing their frustration. Julius Randle was being booed by some fans in Madison Square Garden for his performance, and recent performances. And after making a shot, Julius Randle gave the crowd a thumbs down for booing him.

But what did Randle mean when he gestured at the fans? Well, one reporter asked him that question. After the game, Julius Randle was asked what message he was trying to send to the Knicks fans who were booing him during the game. Randle kept it simple but sent a stern message that told fans how he felt about them jeering him during the game.

“Shut the f*ck up.”

Randle is clearly frustrated with the lack of support from the fans. And this isn’t the first time he was shown some disrespect by Knicks fans. They have been booing him quite a bit this season, expressing disappointment at how Randle has regressed this season compared to last year.

It isn’t unfair to say that Randle has been worse this season compared to last year. Randle was an All-Star and All-NBA player last season and helped the Knicks reach the NBA Playoffs for the first time in years. But Randle still has time to turn things around and improve his game. The Knicks really need him to step up this season, especially if they want to reach the playoffs once again.
