The NBA community has been in awe of Stephen Curry’s incredible run, setting a new NBA three-point record. Despite their rivalry, LeBron James has always been impressed by Steph’s display, and he makes it known.

When asked about Curry’s three-point record chase, LeBron thought it was incredible and had nothing but praise for the All-Star guard.

Steph broke Ray Allen’s three-point record last night at Madison Square Garden against the Knicks. It was an emotional moment for the Golden State Warriors point guard, who celebrated with his teammates and hugged his parents before play resumed.

King James has never been shy to congratulate players on awe-inspiring performances, no matter how often they go at each other’s throats on the floor. On this occasion, he took to the social networking platform Twitter to comment on the record-breaking event.

Just landed in Dallas to see @StephenCurry30 broke the record and to make it even doper he did it in the GARDEN!! WOW CONGRATS BROTHER!! INCREDIBLE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The Garden is the most iconic arena in basketball history, which makes it a lot more “dope.” It has also been nothing close to a fortress this season, as it has allowed five players to set career-high points so far.

James and Steph’s history is one of the most iconic in NBA history, they met in the NBA Finals for four consecutive years when James was with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Steph and the Warriors only lost once, which in retrospect might be the most crucial in their history. LBJ prevented the 73-9 warriors from winning the championship, also becoming the first team to overturn a 3-1 deficit in the Finals and win the series.

Regardless, both players have mutual respect and compete at the highest level. Fans might be treated to a high-profile game between both superstars once again as there is a chance both teams might meet in the 2022 playoffs. Although it will not be in the Finals as they are both in the Western Conference, a seven-game playoff series with such high stakes will always be fun to watch.
