Ja Morant is one of the most promising young players in the NBA right now. The Memphis Grizzlies point guard made a statement as soon as he landed in the association, winning the 2020 Rookie of the Year award.

He’s ready to continue improving his game this upcoming season, trying to emulate and surpass what the Grizzlies did last year, beating the Golden State Warriors in the play-in tournament before stealing Game 1 of their first-round series against the Utah Jazz.

Ja is the cornerstone of the Grizzlies’ project, and he’s getting ready to lead this team to a deeper playoff run. He has plenty of room to improve, and Allen Iverson believes Ja only needs one more weapon to become a real threat to his rivals.

One of the most electrifying players ever, AI thinks that Morant should add a jumper to his game. If he does so, his defenders would have a very bad day trying to stop him from scoring.

“Once his jumper is basically automatic, trouble. He’s trouble right now. He got the whole package,” Iverson said of Morant, via Clutch Points.

Entering his third season in the league, Morant is ready to make a statement. The Grizzlies aren’t considered a playoff team, but they could surprise the doubters.

They have a very good core that can compete in the future. Yet, it doesn’t look like they have big chances this season. But, this man won’t go without putting a battle, and that’s what makes him one of the best young players in the association.
