The off-season has been ongoing for the Los Angeles Lakers for the last month and a half after their elimination from the post-season during the final stretch of regular-season games. The Lakers had the services of Anthony Davis for this final stretch, but AD was clearly limited by his injuries and need more time away.

He has had all the time in the world so far and is still three months away from the start of training camp. If there is ever a time to enjoy his time away from rehab and basketball, it is now with so much time ahead in the off-season.

Davis is having fun with his time, linking up with TikTok creator Chef Jayvoo, known for making massive plates of seafood dishes from the Louisiana area. Davis played in New Orleans for 7 seasons before leaving for LA, so it seems Davis got to enjoy a Louisiana classic in crawfish with Chef Jayvoo.

We can’t know how much of that table was actually cleared out by the two, but considering that Davis is a 6’10 basketball player in his off-season, we can fairly assume he treated himself to a big meal. After all, that spread did look delicious.

Davis will get back to work sooner rather than later, with the Lakers fueling off their shocking performances this season and needing to prove to everyone wrong next season. Coach Darvin Ham has already taken over the reins and will instill discipline in the players of this team again.

Keeping Davis healthy will be the biggest task at hand for the Lakers, as AD has missed a lot of time over the last two seasons because of nagging injuries. He should take the off-season and take his mind off his injury struggles and enjoy a bit. Hopefully, he knows when to get back to work so he can be in the best shape possible coming into training camp.
