Anthony Edwards is back with the Minnesota Timberwolves after going down with a right ankle injury. It took some time for him to return, but he’s done it in a great way.

Ant is ready to help his team finish the 2022-23 NBA regular season on a high note and recently revealed his girlfriend was the reason why he feels so much better now.

“I’m feeling great right now, man. As you can see, I got my energy back. Shoutout to my girl. She did a great job of getting me back to where I wanted to be,” Edwards said, via Chris Hine.

It’s unclear what kind of treatment the girl used for Ant, but it had fans talking about it. The player is happy with it, and the team’s supporters are glad to see their star back in action.

The young shooting guard has been improving his level season after season and it’s fair to say he’s the reason the Timberwolves stayed alive with all the ups and downs this campaign.

After adding Rudy Gobert to the team via trade, Minnesota’s expectations became bigger, but so far, they have struggled a lot to meet them. Still, they are a play-in tournament team right now, and maybe, just maybe, they could avoid the extra games and go straight to the playoffs.

Anthony Edwards Showed The Way Against Brooklyn Nets

In his most recent game, the former No. 1 overall pick posted 23 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in a big win against the Brooklyn Nets.

The next two games will be important for them, as they are two games away from No. 5 and No. 6 Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors, respectively. Still, they remain confident ahead of the final two games of the season, and now that Edwards is back, the T-Wolves know they can go against anybody.

It won’t be an easy job, but right now we’re watching playoffs basketball, and whoever gets hot during the important moments, will have a big chance to win it all. The Timberwolves aren’t favorites to win the championship by any means, but they’ll try to go as far as possible and make life hard for some rivals in the process.
