The Brooklyn Nets made a statement on Thursday night when they took care of the Philadelphia 76ers at Wells Fargo Center, in the return of Ben Simmons to the arena he called home for five seasons.

Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving unleashed all their power on the Sixers, getting a blowout 129-100 win. Despite being received with a lot of boos for Ben Simmons and the rest of the team, the Brooklynites couldn’t care less about it, dominating James Harden and Joel Embiid.

It was a great night for the team that is trying to recover its best form and climb positions on the Eastern Conference standings. Meanwhile, a member of the squad isn’t happy with his current situation, showing his frustration with it on social media.

Blake Griffin was removed from the Nets lineup a couple of months ago. He regained his position when a covid-19 outbreak hit the team, but things changed when players left the league’s health and safety protocol.

The former Los Angeles Clippers, Detroit Pistons player isn’t getting action time recently and has shown his frustration on Instagram. When Milwaukee Bucks player Jevon Carter shared a picture saying it feels good to play. Blake saw the post and reacted to it, sarcastically asking ‘what’s like it?’

It’s clear that Blake isn’t enjoying this time of his career and tenure with the Nets. It was a shock when the team decided to remove him from the rotation, with many people wondering why he’s no longer a valuable piece for Steve Nash.

The head coach seems to be happy with the team, and last night’s victory is a big proof that they are on the right track, even if they fail to finish the regular season among the top 4 in the East. It’s unclear if Blake will get another chance this season or if he’ll leave the organization without contributing much.
